Caroline Georgiou is a counsellor, somatic movement therapist, and one of the UK’s leading facilitators of innerdance. With years of experience working in schools and educational settings, Caroline brings a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to her work, helping students and educators alike to thrive.

Caroline’s sound and somatic practices were used as an intervention to support some of our most vulnerable pupils. These included pupils with complex additional support needs and many who have experienced significant trauma from a young age. 

Sound therapy allowed them a space to reflect and fully participate in something with their peers. One pupil still continues to use the techniques as part of his regulation sequence and as a result is now able to access his mainstream class for parts of his learning.
